Contact and fees
Please call me/leave a message or text me on 07770 415 253, or email on henrigoldie@outlook.com. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
I understand it can be hard to make that first move (but it is not a sign of ‘weakness’, ‘being weird’ or ‘admitting defeat’ to seek counselling/therapy – we can tell ourselves this/believe this despite positive movements in society to embrace good mental health practice – it is strong, wise and forward facing to talk through your problems!). Please choose a contact method that works best for you.
Fees – my hourly rate (therapeutic hours are 50 minutes with 10 minutes of note taking subsequently) currently starts at £45.
FAQs
Training
I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors) and trained under BACP approved courses. My BA in Psychotherapy is also BACP approved.
I have an MA in English & Arts from the University of Edinburgh and a diploma in Journalism.
Ethics/Record keeping
All records are kept in a locked cabinet and anonymised. I am required to keep records for 7 years, after which they are destroyed. The only time the commitment to complete confidentiality cannot be upheld is if a client is a danger to others/themselves, or committing criminal activities.
Ways of offering counselling
I prefer to work face to face but understand this can sometimes be difficult – online/Teams is an option and we can discuss this.
